The Soup Kitchen serves a mid-day meal 365 days of the year. Anyone who comes through our door, is welcome to join us for a meal. The hours of operation are:

Mid-Day Meal

Monday - Friday 11:15 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.

Saturday and Sunday 11:15 A.M. - 12:15 P.M.

Evening Meal

Tuesday and Thursday 5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.

Burke United Christian Ministries feeds hungry people by distributing groceries from the BUCM Food Pantry. We provide food to one family at a time by assisting them as they walk though our Food Pantry and have the dignity of selecting from the available food what they want to eat. 464,528 pounds of food was distributed in fiscal year 2008-09 from the Food Pantry. This is a 76% increase over the amount of food distributed this past fiscal year.

The Saved For You Clothing Store serves as the source of clothing for those who are identified by our crisis counselors as being in crisis. Additionally, it functions as a retail store and is open to the public. All proceeds from clothing sales are used to support our crisis ministry. The hours of operation are:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.

Wednesday

9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.

Saturday

9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
